Clip-On Magnetic Lashes
How to Apply Our Clip on Lashes
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between the NEW Soft and Original Clip-On Magnetic Lashes?
Our NEW Soft Magnetic Lashes have a lighter, softer and more flexible design, making them more comfortable to wear and easier to adjust along the lash line than the Original style.
Our Original Clip-On Magnetic Lashes have a firmer, more structured design for a more defined look. Both styles are reusable and connect above and below your natural lashes without glue or magnetic eyeliner.
Please be aware that neither style is beginner-friendly. Both require patience and plenty of practice to master the magnetic placement technique.
Do I need glue or magnetic eyeliner?
No. Both styles use an upper and lower lash strip that connect around your natural lashes using tiny magnets.
There’s no lash glue or magnetic eyeliner required. Everything needed for application is included with your lashes.
How do I apply Clip-On Magnetic Lashes?
Start with clean, dry natural lashes. Place the upper and lower magnetic lash pieces onto the corresponding sides of the applicator, making sure the magnets face one another.
Position the applicator close to the base of your natural lashes, then gently squeeze it closed so the magnets connect around them. Release the applicator slowly and adjust the lashes if needed.
Expect to practise several times while learning how to position them correctly for your eye shape.
Are Clip-On Magnetic Lashes easy to apply?
Clip-On Magnetic Lashes are not beginner-friendly. The magnetic placement technique requires patience and plenty of practice to master, particularly while learning the correct position for your eye shape.
The NEW Soft style is lighter and more flexible, making it easier to position and adjust than the Original style. Both styles still require practice, but once you become familiar with the technique, application becomes much quicker and more straightforward.
If you’re completely new to false lashes or prefer an easier application, our pre-glued Flash Lash Clusters or Flex Lashes are the best place to start.
Can I wear mascara with magnetic lashes?
Yes. A light coat of mascara on your natural lashes can provide a little extra grip and definition.
Apply your mascara first and allow it to dry completely. Avoid applying mascara directly to the reusable lash strips or magnets, as product build-up can shorten their lifespan.
How do I remove, clean and store them?
Remove the lashes gently by sliding the upper and lower magnets sideways until they separate. Never pull the lash strips directly apart, as this may damage the magnets or lash band.
Carefully wipe away any make-up with a clean, dry cotton bud and return the lashes to their storage case. Avoid soaking them or using oil-based cleansers on the magnets.
Remove your magnetic lashes before sleeping, showering or swimming. With gentle handling and proper storage, they can be worn again and again.
Are magnetic lashes suitable for sensitive eyes?
Because they don’t require glue or magnetic eyeliner, they may be a comfortable alternative for some customers. Eye sensitivity varies, however, so stop wearing them if you experience irritation or discomfort.
Do not wear magnetic lashes if you have an eye infection or irritation. They must also be removed before an MRI or another medical procedure involving magnetic equipment. Always tell your healthcare provider beforehand.
